We believe that everyone who is eager to pursue research using the scientific method has something of value to offer, be it a talent, an opinion, a life experience, or a dream.  In my research group, we will be welcoming and supportive, good listeners, and eager to learn and grow.  We will own our mistakes and learn from them, we will celebrate our collective and individual accomplishments, we will work to establish and maintain equity, and we will treat all with kindness and respect.
